The New Church
Built in 1656, The New Church is one of the most ancient buildings in The Hague. If you want to see religious architecture in Holland typical of the Protestants, The New Church is the right place to go to. Before 1900, The New Church was on an island surrounded by canals in the same geographical point as it is today. Later, the canals were filled so that there is no island anymore in the area.

Mauritshuis

Panorama Mesdag is a very well-known Dutch painting by Hendrik Willem Mesdag. It creates the illusion for you that you are standing on a watchtower and seeing a landscape of Scheveningen of the late 19th century. Panorama Mesdag is 120 meters long and 14 meters high. Its diameter is about 40 meters which makes you wonder in admiration.
